Dear friends!  Please, be informed that ARC will be closed on May 9, 10 and 11 in observance of the VICTORY DAY. We wish you happy holidays and looking forward seeing you on May 12!

On April 15, 2009 the Alumni Resource Center conducted a training for alumni “Presentation Skills – Oral and Multimedia”. The training gathered 9 alumni of US Government exchange. The workshop was held by a professional trainer, a President of the Professional Negotiator’s Club – Oleg Demchik. Mr. Demchik taught coaching and effective negotiation courses at the Center for Leadership Development, held special negotiators courses for The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (Міжрегіональна Академія управління персоналом). He advises the TOP management of leading Ukrainian and international companies working in Ukraine. He is the author of numerous publications: "Business", "2000", "ComputerWorld", "Governance", "Companion," "Contracts", "Expert", "Management and the manager", e-xecutive.ru.During the 3-hour training Oleg talked about common mistakes during Multi Media and Oral presentations, showed examples of successful presentations, and presented some public speaking fear coping strategies. Workshop participants had a chance to get a general professional advice on how to succeed during presentations and get an insight on their own individual concerns.
